Construction of a mixed-use sports and entertainment complex VTB Arena is part of the general restoration project of the Grand sports arena and other sports facilities at the territory of the legendary Russian stadium Dinamo, which has a history of many great victories.
The design is based on standards for not only football competitions, but also for NBA (basketball), IIHF (hockey), ITF (tennis) championships and concert and entertainment events. VTB Arena became part of the mixed-use city complex VTB Arena Park. It is a unique example of integrated development
of an extensive territory. A sports complex including a football stadium for 26,000 seats and an ice arena for 12,000 spectators lies alongside the ice training facility, a hotel, a business district, residential blocks, a shopping centre and a landscaped park. All the necessary conditions for harmonious and comfortable life, development and leisure are formed here.
VTB Arena Park has multiply become the winner of prestigious real estate competitions. In 2013 and 2014 VTB Arena Park became the winner of European Property Awards in several categories, i.e. ‘Best Mixed-Use Development’, ‘Best Mixed-Use Architecture’ and ‘Best Public Services Development’ in Russia. In 2013 the project won Urban Awards as the Best business class apartment complex in Moscow. In 2014 MIPIM Awards experts recognized VTB Arena Park as the Best Russian Project. The project became the winner of RREF Awards 2014 in the category ‘City in city’, and was the finalist at the National competition FIABCI Prix d’Excellence 2013 in the category ‘Master plan’ and the PRO Realty Award 2013 in the category ‘Best business class residential complex’ in Moscow.
